The Amherst 4th of July parade was a good place to find candidates today. Will Thomas and I talked to former Texas Governor Rick Perry about the $1 trillion spending plan for nuclear weapons. Gov. Perry said he didn’t “have a handle” on the issue yet.

Just before the 4th of July parade in Amherst, NH got underway, I asked former Florida Governor Jeb Bush about current plans to spend $1 trillion on nuclear armaments. Governor Bush said that he wasn’t aware of the plan, but he seemed interested in learning more. I explained plans for a new generation of warheads and delivery vehicles. Bush asked if I had written information and I promised to get it to him at another event.

AFSC GUI Senator Lindsey Graham West Des Moines Iowa 6-5 Citizens United Constitutional Amendment Pentagon
Sen. Lindsey Graham wants a constitutional amendment to overturn Citizens United and end unlimited campaign contributions or else “it’s gonna ruin the political process”. Would this apply to Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, and other top Pentagon contractors in the military industrial complex who use their corporate influence to drive public policy?
